Since today was such a nice day, Hannah and I took a lovely long walk this afternoon around our neighborhood. Hannah seems to really enjoy the stroller that her Gigi and Grandad got her for Christmas, and it's also really a good workout for me to push it! The nice thing about the stroller is that the carrier portion of the carseat fits into it (seen in the photo at right) but when Hannah no longer fits in the carrier, or when she's big enough to want to face forward, or when the weather is nicer, the stroller base is also a very nice stroller that can lean back like a pram for when she's sleeping. It's a fabulous piece of machinery! It even has a clock with a digital thermometer built in so I can see how long we've walked and how cold it is! If only the weather was nice more often, I would be walking all day long!

If you moved to Florida, you could walk all the time! Well, at least during the 5 coldest months, a.k.a winter. I think tomorrow's high is a warm 80!
No wonder retired folks live here in the winter.
I am struggling mightily with the bitterness wrought by having not met the newest gillespie. Something must be done...
Amy, you've hit the nail on the head. Clearly we need to retire early and move to Florida where it's warm!!!!
I am wrought with bitterness that you never visit us when you're in town. We only live five miles from your parents! Joe is the only one of "the boys" to see her. But that's b/c he lives a stones throw from our house too.
Catherine--is that a Graco Quatrro Travel system? If not, what kind of travel system is it? We are hoping to go "test drive" some strollers in a few weeks!
Hey Jen, yes, it's a graco quatro. The pattern is called "Windsor." We have the carseat, stroller, high chair, swing, and pack-n-play all in the same pattern! They are confusing to put together, but we've been really pleased with them so far.
