Chub and Developmental Progress
Today at the pediatrician we found out that Hannah now weighs 17 pounds! Wow! She's a chubster! But the doctor didn't seem to think so, and she's right about average on the percentiles. Still a little short though, but that's ok, it gives us more time to use the 3-6 month clothes! The doctor was impressed that Hannah is already crawling, pulling up part way, and various other tricks. I was proud of Hannah for performing her tricks for the doctor and nurses, since I have a sneaking fear that when we go on our trip Hannah will not talk, move, or be cute for the entire three weeks and no one will love her! But how could they not love Chubby-lene! She's my honey-chile.

We're In For It Now!
The camera battery is dead (currently charging) so I can't prove it with a picture, but Hannah now crawls! She's only going a foot or two at a time, but that's all she needs, evidently!
In other milestone news, when Hannah stands holding on to our hands, now she knows how to pick up her feet and "walk" and she thinks walking is great fun.
Also, this morning when I did my daily check of Hannah's gums, she had a little rough spot where a tooth is breaking through! It does explain the drooling and fussiness!
Finally, Hannah's favorite thing to say right now is DA DA DA DA! :( I was hoping for Mama to be first, but oh well. I know she loves me anyway!

Hannah's Tea Party
"Peter Rabbit and Pink Dolly, I think your discussion of the merits of corduroy jackets is fascinating and enlightening."
"Mrs. Hunca-Munca, isn't this atrocious weather we've been having? But it is so beneficial for the beans and black-eyed susans..."
"Well, I most appreciate your company, and am delighted with this fabulous cup! We must do this again sometime!"Sunday, July 09, 2006
See Link For Vacation News
I meant to post this on Hannah's blog, but posted it on mine instead. And that's ok. But in case you don't check my blog, here is the link so you can read about how Hannah spent her first weekend away from home.
