Growing Like a Weed

Today I took Hannah back to the pediatrician. She is now 21 inches long and weighs 9 pounds 7 ounces (roughly what Josh weighed when he was born!). The visit was generally uneventful, except that they were running behind so Hannah had to be without her clothes (just a diaper) for over an hour, so she was already a little miffed when the nurse came in to give her a shot with a GIANT needle that made even her mommy feel a little nervous! Hysterics ensued, and I couldn't blame her! Poor baby!

We're very pleased that Hannah has been smiling a lot more lately in response to our funny faces and talking to her. It's so much fun! She also makes a lot of happy gurgles, and has one noise reserved for when she is relieved to get her pacifier back after dropping it. It sounds like "Ah-yah Ah-yah Ah-yah!" :)

If you're wondering why we haven't had many pictures lately, it's because for the past several days Her Poopciousness has had a breakout on her face. It's supposed to go away soon, and I hope it does!
