I have been remiss about taking pictures lately, mostly because we've been focusing on sleep training I guess. I am pleased to report that at last we have achieved success (I hope I'm not speaking too soon)! I did some research on what babies need and what you can expect at certain ages, to find that babies Hannah's age can sleep an 11 hour stretch and need 5-6 feedings during the day, plus two long and one short nap. Thankfully we've had her on a good bedtime routine so GETTING her to sleep was no problem, but getting her to STAY asleep was. So last Thursday we decided to let her cry when she woke up. For about 2 hours that night she cried intermittently, but didn't scream or anything. The next night she cried once for about 15 minutes. Ever since she has slept through like an angel from her last feeding (around 9ish pm) until I wake her up in the morning at 6:45 or 7. So that's been three nights in a row. And she's taking great naps too. My goal is to feed her last at 8:30 and then have her in bed at 9pm. The question is, what to do about all the nights we're away from home and her schedule gets thrown off? Hm.The above picture was taken on Sunday. Hannah was wearing a little pink embroidered and lacy outfit her great aunt Anne gave her, and her "bling" as Josh calls it was supplied by her great-grandmothers. My dad's mom gave her a little gold locket and my mom's mom gave her the gold bracelet. Prior to our departure for church, Hannah attempted to swallow the aforementioned locket, so we had to pare down her bling. Then in church she spit up so profusely that I had to change her entire outfit during the offering. On the way to the nursing mother's room she also spit up on the floor. Way to leave your mark, bebe! :)

Great picture, all the "great's" will love it. Isn't it amazing the effect the offering has on some people? Glad she is sleeping per plan. I'm sure you are even more glad!
I would like to mention that Catherine was the first to use the term "bling" on Sunday. I will admit I picked up the use and probably used it way more than she did though.
