Chub and Developmental Progress

Today at the pediatrician we found out that Hannah now weighs 17 pounds! Wow! She's a chubster! But the doctor didn't seem to think so, and she's right about average on the percentiles. Still a little short though, but that's ok, it gives us more time to use the 3-6 month clothes! The doctor was impressed that Hannah is already crawling, pulling up part way, and various other tricks. I was proud of Hannah for performing her tricks for the doctor and nurses, since I have a sneaking fear that when we go on our trip Hannah will not talk, move, or be cute for the entire three weeks and no one will love her! But how could they not love Chubby-lene! She's my honey-chile.

Hannah tried to pull herself up on the bars of her playmat, only to find out too late that they are made of foam not solid material! So she crashed the whole play mat and erupted into a pile of giggles!

I tried to get Hannah to pose in her sailor dress, but she refused to take her pacifier out of her mouth. After repeated exhortations to smile, she finally did, but with the pacifier! Oh well...
