Today was pretty chilly, so for our outing to Costco Hannah bundled up in her new winter coat. I deliberately bought it way too big so it might fit all through the winter.
Hannah found the coat rather confining in her carseat, because it was hard for her to move her head around, but she put up with it with grace and aplomb as you might expect. The free sample of animal crackers at Costco kept her happy as she ate part of them and smeared the sticky crumbs all over herself.

Hannah looks adorable! One thing you might want to think about...car seat covers. These ingenious inventions go over the car seat and zip open to allow you to put your baby inside. It eliminates the need for a bulky jacket when combined with a medium weight blanket and a hat. Morgan hated being put in her seat with a jacket, and now I just use this seat cover and take her jacket along for when she gets out of the seat. You can get them online...Target has one that is navy fleece lined for $20 online by Kiddopotamus. I think it's called a CozyUp. Or you can Google Infant car seat carrier covers. Something to consider since you will need it for your next one too!
By the way...you look fabulous dahling!
I second the carseat cover. Technically, you aren't supposed to put them in their carseat with their coat on, as the coat could compress in an accident making it more likely for them to slide out.
But isn't she cute? :)
