Today I broke out the fingerpaints we got Hannah as part of her birthday present. I know, I'm a terrible mom for not having her fingerpaint before now, I'm sorry. I grabbed one of Josh's undershirts and a pair of my old socks to use for her smock and stuck her in the bathtub with paper and the paints to contain the mess. It worked out pretty well, because once she was done I just washed off her hands in the tub and wiped up the paint. No mess, no stress!
This is the picture Hannah said was for Gigi. I asked her what it was and she said "It's fish. Sea fish." As opposed to...land fish?
Hannah said this one was for Daddy and when asked what it was she said "Fish, fish, fish, TUTTLE!" Tuttle is turtle, in case you didn't get that.

Of course that's a fish! I recognized it as such before I even scrolled down far enough to read the script! you send that piece of art to me and it will go right up on the wall in my classroom, just in time for the aquarium unit! Obviously that sweet child has talent just waiting to be developed!
What a great idea fingerpainting in the tub. I will definitely keep that in mind when we crack open finger paints with Morgan. Hannah made some very pretty pictures! I too could tell the one was a fish before I scrolled down! What talent.
