Traditionally, as you drive up and first catch site of the Montreat gate, you must sing the following song, and finish it before you pass through:Montreat, how I love 'ya. How I love 'ya, my dear old Montreat. I'd give the world to be back with the folks at M-O-N-T-R-E-A-T. Mammy's waiting for me, praying for me, down by Lake Susan. The folks at home will just have to wait, for I'm headed for that Montreat gate.

I love the pictures, and particularly liked your idea of her pretty dress shots on the beach. Would have loved to take some photos myself! Looks like you had a great trip and Hannah appeared to be in a very good mood in each picture! Love the pudgy legs.
Hey, I've been to Montreat! Martin's brother lives in Black Mountain and my former boss is now the director of christian education at Montreat Pres. Small world! I never knew about the song. We'll have to sing it next time we're there. And get one of those spiffy bibs!
