Today Jack started saying "bear" although it comes out sounding like "ber." So I was trying to reinforce that by asking him to say bear, say bear, and after a whlie he got bored of that.
I said, "Say bear Jack!" and Jack blew a motorboat noise at me instead.
Hannah looked up from her book and said, "I think that means bear in French."
