Singing

Hannah's two favorite songs right now are the Doxology and the Gloria Patri. She asks for them all day long. This afternoon when she was supposed to be taking her nap, instead Hannah started singing the Doxology at the top of her lungs. I couldn't think of a way to record it, so I wrote down what she said in her very enthusiastic version:

Pwaise God fum who all bessings FWOW!
Pwaise 'em kee-chers hee BEEEEEEWOH!
Pwaise 'em heavy HOST
Pwaise fahhhhhhver son ho-yee GHOSSS!

I really wish I could have recorded it because it was so funny! It's great that she's getting more of the words now so we can figure out which song she is singing, even if she doesn't get all the words correct.

I'm so delighted by my children. It's little things like hearing Hannah's funny lyrics and Jack's belly laughs when we play patty-cake with him that make me so appreciative of the gift children are to our family. "Pwaise God" indeed!
